All I want for Christmas is Restored Hope with a Repaired Borehole. 💧

💧 In Northern Malawi, clean water is life —but it isn’t just a gift that lasts forever. Boreholes, a vital source of water, need education and regular maintenance to keep them pumping. While many organizations install boreholes with the best intentions, too often communities are left without the support and knowledge to keep them functional.

Love a Village has answered the call to repair broken boreholes gifted by others. We are inspired to do more when we see the resilience and commitment of those in the community bringing some funds and asking for help outside of our targeted goals. These villagers aren’t just asking for help - they’re invested in maintaining their lifeline, and we’re honoured to assist.

What makes Love a Village unique is our approach: we don’t just build; we build relationships. We listen to community leaders, provide hands-on education in borehole maintenance, and return to our projects to make sure they’re still functioning and meeting needs.

This Christmas, as our team of “elves” repair 🔨🔧🪛 boreholes, we’re doing more than fixing a water source. We’re renewing a community’s hope in clean water for years to come.
